Excelsis offers 100% Organic Cotton Bed Sheets with Global Organic Textile (GOT) Certification produced in India from ‘fair trade’ environments where the workers make a living wage in healthy working conditions, the families are looked after and the money goes fairly to all people involved in the process, not just the importers. The current range of Bed Sheets did not receive the Fair Trade certification on its tags, but since then the production plant has received certification.

The materials and production are from Australia, India and Europe- all suppliers to Excelsis guarantee the ecological quality of their products throughout all the processes of growing, spinning, knitting, manufacturing and dying with controls by CU (Control Union, formally SKAL) and/or Global Organic Textile (GOT) Certification, an independent and internationally acknowledged inspection and certification body for organic production.

The Packaging: The packaging and sticky tape is cellulose film/cellophane which is 100% biodegradable, it protects the fabric in transport, from chemicals and odours, unlike plastics. When you are finished you can put it into your compost.
